Practice scan — data purges in 24h
Fitting scan
Before you start
- Wear fitted clothing — loose clothes change your body outline and the measurements.
- Two photos: front A-pose facing the camera, then a full 90° side turn, arms relaxed — whole body head-to-feet in frame, bright even light, plain background.
- Enter your height accurately (shoes off, nearest ½ inch) — it sets your measurement scale.
- Your two photos are processed on this device to compute your measurements. An optional vendor comparison is available after your scan, on the results screen — it only runs if you choose it. As part of this pilot, your two scan photos and computed measurements are kept to train the sizing model; continuing past this screen is your consent for this scan. Measurements and any tape comparisons from this pilot are used in aggregate to improve sizing accuracy.
- Optional: hold a driver's-license-size card flat on your chest for an extra scale check — see the guide below.
Advanced options
Optional: reference-object placement (extra scale cross-check)
Reference object placementHold a sheet of 8.5 × 11 letter paper flat on your chest
- Hold the paper FLAT against the center of your chest, facing the camera.
- Press it against your body, in the same plane as your torso. Do NOT hold it out in front of you — that throws off the scale.
- Keep it fully visible inside the frame for the FRONT photo.
Side photo: you do not need the paper — just turn 90° and keep your full body in the frame.
